The Graduate Scholarships:
1. Baltimore City Scholars Program
The Baltimore City Scholars Program provides Baltimore city government employees, and a select group of nongovernment Baltimore city employees, the opportunity for additional financial aid to further their undergraduate education and directly contribute to a more educated city workforce.
Graduate applicants must have verification of graduation and an undergraduate degree conferred with a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher. Students must enroll at least half-time in a degree-granting program.
2. Merit-Based Scholarships
Graduate students are automatically considered for a merit-based scholarship at the time of admission. The amount awarded depends on a variety of factors. Students applying for fall, spring and summer will be considered. There is no FAFSA required.
The Transfer students Scholarships:
1. Wilson Presidential Scholarship
The Wilson Presidential Scholarship is available to new transfer students who are seeking their first bachelor’s degree with at least 60 credits.
This is a competitive scholarship. Students must have a cumulative transfer GPA of 3.5 or higher when entering. The Wilson Presidential Scholarship covers 100% of in-state tuition.
2. The Samuel G. Rose Scholars Award
The Rose Scholars Award is available to both full-time and half-time students financial assistance to complete their bachelor’s degree. Awards range from $400 a year to full in-state tuition and fees. To be eligible, students must have completed at least 24 credits and complete the FAFSA.
3. Maryland Legislative Scholarships
Maryland state senators and delegates offer scholarships to undergraduate, graduate, and professional students living within the districts they represent who enroll at least half-time. Requirements and application processes vary by legislator.
The Military and Veteran and Family Member Scholarships:
The Bob Parsons Scholarship
Through The Bob Parsons Scholarship Fund, University of Baltimore is investing in Pell Grant eligible transfer and military/veteran students by providing financial support toward tuition and fees while you complete your bachelor’s degree. Eligible students will receive the difference between their Pell award and in-state tuition and fees. Students must earn an associate’s degree (or qualify for the military waiver) and enroll full-time at University of Baltimore. No additional application is required, but students must complete the FAFSA for consideration.
