Fully Funded DAAD Scholarships 2023 {Study In Germany}

Founded in the year  1925, the German Academic Exchange Service, or DAAD is a private, federally funded and state-funded, self-governing national agency of the institutions of higher education in Germany.

DAAD is the largest German support organisation in the field of international academic co-operation.

The DAAD grants competitive, merit-based grants for use toward study and/or research in Germany at any of the approved German institutions of higher education. It also tenders grants to German students, doctoral students, and intellectuals for studies and research abroad.

The German International Scholarship DAAD 2023 is open to world wide students to acquire master’s and doctoral degrees at various German universities.

A. Funds are given for 12 to 36 months (depending on the study schedule)

B. Monthly fee for graduate students is 861 euros

C. Monthly fee for Ph.D. students is 1200 euros

D. Payments towards health, accident and personal liability insurance cover

E. Travel allowance, unless these expenses are covered by the home country or another source of funding.

Under certain circumstances, scholarship beneficiaries may receive the following benefits:

A. Monthly rent subsidy

B. Monthly allowance for accompanying members of family

Scholarship Program Duration Duration:

Master Degree {1-2 Years}/ Ph.D./Doctoral Degree {3-4 Years}.


Eligibility Criteria:

A. Students have a bachelor’s degree (usually a four-year course) in the appropriate subject

B. The student should have at least two years of experience

C. Students can prove that their motivation is related to progress and they are expected to fulfill their social responsibilities and initiate and support the process of change in their personal and professional environment after training/scholarship.

D. The final degree (usually a bachelor’s degree) must be completed six years in advance.


Eligible credentials required for application are listed below:

B. Properly handwritten Curriculum Vitae

C. A written letter cover (referring to the current profession) to 2 pages.

D. Scientific Letters of Recommendation (Letters must have the title of the article, signature, and seal of the office and must be up to date)

E. Professional letter of recommendation from your employer (experience letter) (letters should have a paper title, signature and seal of office, and a date)

F. Job confirmation from your country’s employer and – if possible – a guarantee of a new job after returning home.

G. Proof of language skills:

H. English – TOEFL or IELTS

I. Kindly note: {We only accept one academic TOEFL}

J. German – required for courses in English, if available

K. (Certified *) Copy of respected scientific documents (if necessary, a valid translation)

L. (Certified *) Copy of University Transcript (valid translation if necessary)
