Founded in 1997, the Heinrich Böll Foundation is a German, legally independent political foundation.

The Heinrich Böll Foundation was named after German writer Heinrich Böll.

Applications are open for the Heinrich Boll Foundation Scholarship 2022/2023 academic year.World wide students wishing to study at the best German universities are recommended to apply.

WELFARE:

FOR PhD  STUDIES:

A. In addition to the €1,200 monthly stipend and €100 mobility stipend, non-EU students are eligible for a variety of additional stipends. Tuition is not possible.

B. For EU students: €1350 monthly stipend and €100 monthly stipend for research fees. There is no charge in Germany, but limited costs are possible elsewhere.

C. The scholarship is usually awarded for two years but can be extended twice for half a year.

FOR MASTERS STUDIES:

A. For non-EU students, the monthly stipend is €850 per month and various stipends. In some cases, the cost of studying in Germany is possible.

B. EU Students: The amount varies, but up to a maximum of €649 per month and €300 per book. Tuition is not possible in Germany but is limited in other countries.

C. The scholarship covers a regular course of study which can be extended up to one semester.

Eligibility Criteria:

A. Prospective applicants must have an excellent School grades and academic record.

B. Required record level of German language (B2 or DSH)

C. Prospective applicants must possess social engagement skill.

D. Prospective applicants must be able to connect with the goals of the Foundation.

E. Prospective applicants must be responsible, motivated, dependable people who want to play an active role in the work of the foundation.

Eligible application certificates:

A. Complete Application Form.

B. Student enrolment certificate.

C. College or university lecturer Reference letter

D. University Entrance Qualification or Equivalent.

E. Worldwide students must submit an application for the Master’s program: a certified copy of their first-degree certificate.

F. List of diplomas if you have already started your studies.

G. German language skills. No less than DSH 2 or B2 level.
